Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium Grant Allocation for Year: £58,080
School Pupil Premium Statement:
The Government believes that pupil premium is the best way to address inequalities between pupils in specific groups. It is therefore used to tackle disadvantage in order to reach the pupils who need it most.
National data shows that pupils that have been eligible for free school meals at any point in time have lower attainment than those who have never been eligible.
Our school identifies less disadvantage pupils than the number in average schools. At Willow Primary we recognise that not all children who receive free school meals are disadvantaged and that not all pupils who are socially disadvantaged will qualify for free school meals.
