Week 12 - WB -13-07-20

Please use the Oak National Academy website again for reading, writing and science (and any other subjects you would like to try).  For the week beginning 13-07-20 please scroll down and use week 10, which is poetry.

For maths we will continue to use the White Rose Maths home learning which is geometry and statistics.  There are also a range of reasoning and problem solving consolidation tasks for you to choose.  What have you done over the last few months that you feel you may need some more work on?  There are plenty to choose.  You could do them over the summer as well to keep your maths skills fresh for year 7.

Other online Learning

For online learning please continue to use Bedrock Vocabulary at least 3 times per week and there will also be work set on Mathletics and Purple Mash.

Have a great week and as always, any questions or if you want to share any learning your child has done,  please e mail the Y6 team on the home learning address.

Please see home learning guide for this week below.

Preparation for Teams meeting in the last week – Week beginning 13-7-20

At the beginning of the year 6 you wrote down your hopes and ambitions for the end of year 6, what you would like to achieve etc. Obviously, Covid has had a massive impact on this but think about what you had achieved before lockdown.  You all worked extremely hard and were having a great year!  Be prepared to share!

In addition, what are you memories of being at Willow?  Be prepared to share!  You could write something down or just speak freely.  It does not have to be much. This will be our last meeting as a class so it would be great if everyone joined in.  We look forward to seeing you all.
