Birds of Prey

Throughout our English and Topic work, we have been learning about birds of prey. The children have been learning about Vultures, Bald Eagles, Kestrels, Barn Owls, Red Tailed Hawks and their physical features. We have been so inspired and have used our research to write fantastic information texts.

We have been writing to include the following key skills:

  • Titles
  • Subheadings
  • Paragraphs
  • Factual language
  • Complex sentences
  • Fronted adverbials

Food chains

Can you use what you already know about different animals to make your own food chain? Make sure it starts with a 'consumer' (plant) and ends with a 'predator' (carnivore or omnivore).

Challenge! Can you use what you already know about the best beasts to create the ultimate predator?

Heritage

What makes me special?

We are special and have unique qualities regardless of religion, race and culture. In our class we have lots of different children who are part of different cultures. We respect diversity and have enjoyed celebrating our unique qualities.

In our Geography lessons, we each located where in the world we are all from and created a piece of work to celebrate our cultural heritage.
