Computing - Touch Typing

Participating children are assigned to the Touch Typing app in Purple Mash

a) Type as a task as a block over a set period e.g. half term

b) a fact file template for Steve Jobs and Bill Gates

Each pupil must complete all of the First Steps units and ‘Hand in’ to Mr Martin

All KS2 entrants must also complete and submit the ‘Moving on’ units

Word per minute expectation

Year 1 / Year 2 - 10+

Year 3 - 15+

Year 4 - 20+

Year 5 - 25+

Year 6 - 30+

Once these have been reviewed by Mr Martin, you will be given a time to complete the typingtest.com 1 minute sentence test under supervision.
