Communication with the teachers

Please use our class email year3homelearning@willow.doncaster.sch.uk to communicate with us. Please remember to write in the subject field Frogs or Newts so that the corresponding teacher can pick up the emails. 

Home Learning expectations

All pupils should - 

  • Read 5 times a week and get their reading records signed by the person listening. Children must read their book until they feel confident. They will then take a quiz in class on accelerated reader, after which they can change their book for a new one.
  • Practise spelling words set weekly on Spelling Frame on a daily basis ensuring that the test on Spelling Frame is taken by Sunday (written test will be done on a Monday morning in class). New words will be assigned each Monday.
  • Practise 2, 5, 10, 3, 4 and 8 times tables on TTRS as often as possible.
  • Use other learning websites that are listed on the front cover of reading records to support learning.

All usernames and passwords are stuck in the front of your child's reading record.
